Hailey Hermida is an 18-year-old punk-pop singer and songwriter based in Los Angeles, California. Blending the raw energy of 2000s rock with modern emo-pop elements, her music channels emotional chaos into explosive anthems about self-expression, power struggles, and growing up. Her breakout single “sad boy shit” racked up nearly 200,000 views on YouTube, while her latest release, “OPPosites”, marks a bold step into darker pop rock territory.

I led Hailey’s visual and digital rebrand, reshaping her world into a 2000s-inspired pop-punk universe that felt authentic to her. I selected new brand colors, curated imagery, and built moodboards that influenced everything from her website to her merch. I rewrote her bios and edited artist images to capture her evolving vibe.

I’ve managed the rollout for four singles, taking the lead on “straitjacket”, overseeing strategy, creative direction, distribution setup, and promotion. I updated Hailey’s artist profiles across Spotify, Apple Music, SoundCloud, YouTube Music, Amazon Music, iHeartRadio, and more, ensuring branding consistency. Under my guidance, her Spotify audience grew 32%, streams and saves more than doubled, and Apple Music plays surged 329%.

I handle all press outreach for Hailey, drafting one-sheets, press releases, and pitching to over 200 playlists, radios, podcasts, and journalists. I serve as the main point of contact between her team and press outlets, securing multiple features, including three pop-rock podcast interviews and numerous articles.

I built multi-platform social strategies for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook. I create content ideas that reflect Hailey’s humor and personality, collaborate on filming, and edit videos and thumbnails. I also manage bios, playlists, and full release campaigns. During this time, her YouTube following grew by 99%.

I launched Hailey’s first email list, designing branded templates, writing all copy, and creating graphics aligned with her tone. Campaigns offered subscribers early access to unreleased music and personal messages, strengthening her core fanbase.

I manage her live bookings, growing booked shows from 2 in 2024 to 8 in 2025 within six months. Average attendance increased from 10–15 to 40 fans per show, with returning attendees at multiple events. I coordinate logistics between venues, promoters, and Hailey’s team, ensuring smooth execution from booking to show day. At events, I distributed fliers, posters, and merch to boost fan engagement.

I design and produce merch for shows, giveaways, and her webstore, including shirts, trading cards, posters, and buttons. I also create print collateral like flyers and signage for live events and local stores, all aligned with her rebrand.

To build hype around Hailey’s shows, I reach out to creators in the pop-punk and alt scenes, inviting them to shows and gifting them merch. These small activations help build organic relationships and extended her reach beyond her immediate fanbase.

For this release, I handled all publicity efforts, including drafting the press release and one-sheet, submitting to journalists, playlists, media outlets, and podcasts, creating and overseeing the social media calendar, conducting influencer outreach, managing her music profiles, selecting artist photos, updating bios, designing merchandise, managing advertisements, and tracking the song’s performance analytics.

For this release, I managed the campaign from concept through execution, overseeing the creative, content, publicity, influencer, and marketing efforts surrounding the song. I developed visual concepts and moodboards, planned and coordinated photoshoots and video shoots, captured and edited behind-the-scenes content, and filmed and edited the YouTube visualizer and lyric video. I also managed the social media and music platform rollout, developed the content calendar, selected artist imagery, created the release one-sheet, and oversaw social content creation.
On the publicity and marketing side, I drafted and distributed the press release, secured international media placements, negotiated placement contracts, coordinated merchandise shipments, managed playlist pitching and negotiations, and hosted a UGC contest to drive audience engagement. I also managed advertising campaigns and continuously tracked analytics to measure the song’s performance and inform ongoing strategy.
